The business has since diversified into property management. • Worked as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, delivering insights, analytics and actionable business intelligence to influence data-driven planning and commercial decision-making: • Transformed the performance of the fuel business to optimise asset value and facilitate the sale of assets and goodwill to Caltex (retaining property assets and negotiating ongoing leases as part of the sale): − Managed an 18-month program of cost transformation and revenue optimisation prior to asset sale, harnessing improved reporting and analytics to benchmark and drive continuous improvement in P&L performance across 55+ fuel and merchandise retail stores • Managed corporate financing arrangements to enable capital investment in commercial property assets, building trust and credibility and nurturing strategic relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions • Delivered a critical review of finance systems and processes and led a program of digital transformation to optimise Sage X3 ERP capabilities, automating processes and controls to manage risk, drive efficiency, and enhance the quality of reporting and analytics • Actively developed the culture and capability of the Finance and Operations teams, engaging them in the critical review and redevelopment of business processes and facilitating system user training to optimise adoption and utilisation of new ERP capabilities • Managed procurement and contract management for the property portfolio, nurturing strategic partnerships with key suppliers and contractors and embedding robust contract management frameworks
