Finished front-end development for the Children’s Healthcare Of Atlanta Website redesign project (CHOA.org) - a fully responsive Bootstrap site. To be public in June, 2016. Worked with a tightly integrated Agile team, including client, agency management, creative and backend. This was fairly novel for an ad/digital agency. Excited to see what's next!
Originally hired to design and develop DAO onboarding app to enter all employees into multiple HR legacy systems. Part of the senior team that launched AIO Wireless – the 2013 top technical goal of multi-billion dollar AT&T. When that site was stable, I was lent to other teams to help with their needs. I adapted and accelerated into different projects, environments and needs. Rewrote parts of Cricket Wireless consumer-facing Web site (before and after the AIO/Cricket merger) to improve marketing and make it more responsive with Twitter Bootstrap. I and my team cleaned up and re-wrote a lot of code to "get across the finish line" for two national launches. Technology: Development, SASS CSS, Scout (Compass & SASS framework), HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Underscore.js, Backbone.js, Bootstrap and Responsive Web methods, Wordpress turnkey theme to enable stores to set up own turnkey sites and hosting. Adobe CQ5 CMS components. Git code repos, Kanban Agile methodology in Jira. Design.
Fixed existing issues and developed new content for prominent healthcare/wellness–related Websites. Properties included Sharecare.com and DoctorOZ.com. DOM manipulation using jQuery. Added static, self-contained CMS content. Developed unique interfaces for restaurant online ordering systems. Chick-Fil-A, was key client. Product revenues averaged $110,000+/day for their core stores of their 300 restaurant roster. C–F–A was slated to eventually earn tens of thousands/day upon final release. The client roster was expected to increase to 1,500 stores by year's–end. Designed and completed UI/UX and IA on next-gen flagship Web application. Took very complex credit card processing, financial data and business processes, making them understandable and useful to the ISOs that sell and support merchant credit card services to retailers. Got them through critical trade show demo, in the presence of their key customers. Set the stage with solid code base used in further development. Edited special sale pages, correlated large video link library for later conversion – anything else needed to assist the Front End Development group with their short-term holiday workload. One special home page I did saw 1,028,912 unique visitors and earned $900,000 in revenue in just one day. Technology: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Firebug.
Helped build and refine templated Websites for major corporations’ loyalty programs, from one application, featuring dynamic content and structure. Over 90 end-clients (like American Express) chose from modular, pre–built features with custom capabilities, connectivity and security, all featuring their own design that fit into their existing sites. Maintained over 10,000 lines of CSS code, making sure it was cross-browser, cross–platform and ADA/508 compliant. Supported small UI group and larger developer group. Advised other developers in UI issues. Took role as Agile scrum leader. Took on developer roles, including re-coding application structure and logic. Maintained multiple local servers.
