In my current position, I am engaged in a diverse range of activities that encompass quantum engineering, optical design, microfabrication, and device characterization. - Design intersubband devices for the THz range using GaAs/AlGaAs, employing custom-written code (Python) and nextNano. - Design optical microcavities to optimize photodetector performance, utilizing COMSOL Multiphysics simulations for eigenfrequency and intracavity field analysis. - Conduct microfabrication in a cleanroom setting, employing techniques like optical and electron beam lithography, metal deposition, CVD, ICP, and wet etching. - Perform device characterization. Electrical measurements (utilizing LabView for instrumentation) and optical measurements (FTIR). - Perform measurements at low temperatures using vacuum cryogenics with liquid nitrogen and liquid helium. 現在のポジションでは、量子エンジニアリング、光学設計、微細加工、デバイス特性評価など、幅広い活動に携わっています。 - GaAs/AlGaAsを使用し、PythonとnextNanoを活用してTHz帯域のサブバンド間遷移によるデバイスを設計しています。 - COMSOL Multiphysicsシミュレーションを使用してフォトディテクタのマイクロキャビティを最適化しています。 - クリーンルーム環境でリソグラフィ、金属堆積、CVD、ICP、ウェットエッチングなどの技術を用いた微細加工を実施しています。 - LabViewを使用して設計した実験系とFTIRを使用した光学測定を使って、デバイス特性の評価をしています。 - 液体窒素と液体ヘリウムを使用した真空冷凍技術による低温測定を実施しています。
