Scope of Responsibility: • I am responsible for the management and security of all aspects of JRFC's IT infrastructure including internal software development, daily operations, and management of the corporate data and phone networks. • In this role I report to the CEO. Compliance: • I am responsible for insuring that JRFC’s IT operations are compliant with all SEC, FINRA, and CFTC regulations for Investment Advisers, Broker-Dealers, Commodity Trading Advisors, and Commodity Pool Operators. • I interact with regulators and auditors on behalf of JRFC. • My compliance responsibilities are tightly coordinated the JRFC’s Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel, and Chief Operation Officer. Management/Supervision: • Conduct annual reviews and compensation evaluations of up to five IT staff (currently two). • Prepare/present project proposals and status updates to C-suite executives. Scale of Network: • 14 remote sites that connect back to JRFC’s Microsoft Azure instance. • A Cisco VoIP network that extends to all remote sites. • JRFC currently has about 25 users and 2 IT staff (not including myself). o At its height, JRFC had 50 users, and I was managing an IT staff of five.
