I built a rapidly growing managed services platform during the quarantine. It is a privately funded and agile business focusing on scalable and virtual tech-stack infrastructures. We serve B2B markets, specifically SMB, with analytical, storage, and data processing capabilities that are reliable and fast. We build custom models and insights on our platforms that provide our customers access to platforms and analysts otherwise unobtainable. We use advanced data clustering and regression tools to produce insights and useable forecasts, and we also create targeting scorecards using SAS, R, and SparkR technologies. I managed the business to profitability in under one year, with gross margins exceeding 75%. Our customers are recognizable brands in entertainment, financial services, broadcast television, and green communities.

Following the exit of iQ media, I joined KinetiQ to properly integrate the company as part of a joint-venture effort with 4C. We are the leader in curated media data from global television properties to our client base. We work in advanced attribution modeling and predictive analytics for content engagement. We can find audience metrics regarding attention and brand awareness that are not possible anywhere else in the industry. KinetiQ provides global access to television media with data sciences and advanced analytics. We integrated two technology stacks during the first 14 months of the venture and expanded television data harvesting capabilities into over 100 countries globally. Our products enabled brands, government entities, and global agencies to find real-time audiences in traditional paid advertising and earned campaigns and sponsorships.
I was the Founder and principal creator of this privately held start-up. We operated as a SaaS business that served the world's most iconic brands - Mercedes-Benz, Google, Uber, Red Bull, IOC, and SONY, to name a few. We dramatically innovated the marketplace with a real-time data environment for media intelligence that is recognized globally. I created the initial business strategy and vision and executed a break-neck implementation go-to-market plan within the first 24 months of the business. Subsequently, I was responsible for raising almost $20 mm in capital from angel to a venture A-round. The resulting platform generated nearly $10 mm in annual revenue at a gross margin of nearly 70%. The technology of the platform that I developed and the emerging data sciences were revolutionary and still considered best in class. I was responsible for staffing over 100 professionals and instilling into them the values of the company. I developed all R&D, strategic, operational, financial, and legal facets of launching the business. As a founding director, I sat on the board and was a member of various committees.
I founded a privately held innovative, engaging, ground-breaking technical "skunkworks" focused on massive data structures. Our product offerings allowed us to supply non-traditional technology and analytical methods to organizations that could not handle scale issues cost-effectively nor timely. Using many of the experiences from my payment services background, we were able to push data sciences into many other industry norms using advancing technologies and ever-emerging data science techniques. Our clients included government defense agencies, financial services firms, and most notably broadcast television and cable companies. We raised over $3 million in angel funding and created a SaaS business model effectively breakeven after one year in business before we exited.
