Direct the identification and justification of capital portfolio and execution of all capital projects inclusive of growth, innovation, productivity, new technology, automation and control networks and infrastructure for all operations and supply chain. I am the team leader and coach for engineering and new technology members and maintenance and reliability members for the Johnsonville Sausage organization. My responsibilities include business development, collaboration and partnership with the retail business group, food service business, innovation team, international business group, operations/manufacturing, supply chain and research & development. I am a member of the company’s strategy team and am accountable to the growth and success of the business and the Johnsonville team members.

Provides leadership and direction to engineering & manufacturing teams responsible for execution (from concept through production) of multi–discipline capital programs and projects with primary emphasis on the frozen foods manufacturing and logistics. Also responsible for engineering services and production platform technology including design and development of innovative food manufacturing processes, capital process, project management and execution, cost of goods reduction efforts, automation & controls and technical guidance for plant floor network optimization. Key leader in production & logistics platform master planning, process efficiency/yield improvement and capital portfolio management. Additional responsibilities include Environment, Health and Safety, Energy use planning and reduction efforts across the Supply Chain and developing triple bottom line sustainability concept, approach and culture.
