After the hand over of the team lead role to my successor, I was asked to help shape two improvement projects related to Control-of-Work (ie ‘High Risk Work’ within Merck) This includes the digitalization of the permit-to-work process (defining criteria, defining URS, selection, RFP) and business improvement [Consultant role on parttime basis] Completed the improvement projects where possible as of September 2nd 2020, hand-over to team lead permit office and director F&E. ______________________________________________________________________________ Experience with: Pharma, PTW, URS, IT, digital PTW system, Control-of-Work (CoW), Management of Change (MoC), High-risk work standards.

In charge of setting up a new Permit-to-work (PTW)desk (Permit Office) as a project manager and interim site (team) lead. Taking care of coordination both in the field and on site project management level. Leading a small team (initially 5 FTE, now 8 FTE) and working closely with different stakeholders (CBRE, GES, MSD Facility & Engineering CAPEX and Facility Management) Acting as a ‘quartermaster’ (kwartiermaker) and focal point for all PTW-desk related issues, for site Moleneind, Oss. Acted as owner of sub-systems and SME. Also involved with enhancement of site-safety procedures and work processes. [Interim leadership role] Successes: - Helped set up new site technical coordination meeting structure, 6-Wk Look ahead, 2-Wk Look ahead and daily sunrise meetings. - Established new standard for the reviewing and issuing of work permits/PTW. - Set up new centralized permit office at the site. - Aided in setting up a Permit Office on the Geer site, MSD BT and aligning both. - Significantly reduced waste (non-used) PTWs from 38% to below 20% between 2017 and 2019. - Worked on 30+ construction and renovation projects (incl CAPEX 10 mil+ projects): HVAC, production suites, utilities, site interior and exterior renovations, waste and ground water treatment plants etc. - Aided in setting up new training curriculum for control of work-framework. - Fortifying the future of the Permit Office for 2020-2025. - Succesfully guided the site Permit Office through two corporate safety audits (2018 & 2019) - Succesfully handed over the position to the new team lead, whom started at MSD January 2nd 2020 in a permanent role. ______________________________________________________________________________ Experience with: Pharma, small bore, leadership, teams, auditing, TIER-meetings, LEAN, PTW, LoTo, line-breaking, GMP, High-risk work standards, lifting, decommissioning, demolition, OHSA, MPS/TPS.

EHSS specialist [consultant a.i.] at ASML AM (Asset Management) department. As an advisor I helped to ensure that: - projects within the AM-scope are coordinated and safely executed; - EHS-procedures and related processes are created and improved upon; - incidents are prevented and business continuity is ensured. Projects included (amongst many): new boiler house, campus exterior renovation and revamp, roofing projects, warehouse expansion and office renovation. Helped to improve the Permit-to-work process.
