Global Water Stewardship resolves sanitation issues in the developing world by educating people and engineering sustainable centralized solutions that keep waterways clean and communities healthy. The Community Design committee responsibilities includes: - Prepares annual GWS Student Design Problem Statements, - Gathers community data, - Mentors student design teams, - Organizes judges for the student design competitions, - Requests and finalizes design deliverables to ASADA in English and Spanish, - Coordinates student design presentations for ASADAs and other stakeholders, - Follows-up on previous designs for ASADAs, and - Coordinates with ASADAs to transition the winning student design to a final professional design.
