Took over as CMO at 4C following the acquisition of CloudSocius. I oversaw the design and execution of the group marketing strategy and playbook, recruiting, leading and collaborating with an EMEA wide team. Built and scaled the marketing function from scratch and established key partner marketing relationships. Took the business to acquisition and built brand awareness and market share by planning and executing demand generation plans that included email, events, digital, PR, social media and content. Promoted to CMO following 4C acquisition.
Part of the marketing and communications team at FTSE100, SSE plc. I was responsible for supporting and driving new customer acquisition, reducing churn and improving customer satisfaction scores, utilising a multi- million-pound marketing mix of programs including sponsorships, TV, radio, press, digital and outdoor.
Rejoined SSE on its Graduate Programme, working across the companies Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Affairs teams. Managed the brand’s social media channels, with responsibility for crafting messaging, creating content and optimising the retail website to ensure enhanced UX. Also gained experience in planning and executing national and local PR campaigns to support SSE’s wind farm development business.
The role was part of my university year working in industry and gave me experience in variety of marketing and PR disciplines for Airtricity’s retail and wind farm development business in Ireland, the UK and USA. Notable achievements include, rebuilding the company website and corporate messaging, assisting on company rebrand and customer communications programme following acquisition by SSE plc.
