zendone.com was a productivity enhancement platform based on Getting Things Done methodology that integrated with Evernote and Google Calendar. It started as a personal project and became a small entrepreneurship in which I was involved as the owner of the iOS application.

Software Engineer at Platform and Tools deparment in Buongiorno offices in Madrid. The main target of the deparment is to develop, mantain and provide support of the new publishing platform to be used by the whole company. The platform is based on Liferay WCM tool that is totally customized to be used with mobile devices with UserAgent reconition and customizable rendering, specific Carrier markup, and other Buongiorno bussiness oriented features. I worked in DIA% as software architect in a project called NEXDIA consisting in defining and implementing a Sofware Developement Methodology based in OpenUP and Scrum, Development and QA Environment and a Framework to ensure the quality and rapid development in internal DIA developments. NEXDIA framework is based in Spring 2.0, using namespaces and advanced artifacts to redefine a layered supercontainer. Over the container, modular services can be added. A wide range of services was implemented to fit all possible bussiness requirement. At persistence level, Hibernate, JPA and iBatis services based on Generic annotatted DAOs are available. At controller level, it's possible to use Spring MVC controllers or Spring WebFlow artifacts. Also, to develop RIA applications, GWT is available, which a library with utilities and customized components, and also with a integration with Nexdia Controller layer. The development and QA environment is based in Maven, with plugins and archetypes to generate CRUD and starting code for the projects, an Artifactory Server, and a CI environment based on Hudson and Sonar.
For three years I was member of IT Architecture group at Consultancy atSistemas. This role consisted mainly in helping our customers in different projects as Software Architect or IT Consultant, starting projects, building execution frameworks, or doing agile methodology and continuous integration consultancy. As Chief architect my work was supervise techincal offers to customers at Industry sector, participate under request in projects and mainly work in the starred project of department, ContainerClick at RENFE Mercancias. RENFE Mercancias is the monopolistic rail operator of goods in Spain. The project target was to modernize the whole business lifecycle of the company migrating a series of applications from IBM Mainframe (COBOL/PL1) to Web platform in a distributed and Portal / ESB based Architecture. The aim of ContainerClick project was support the entire lifecycle of transportation reservation and execution lifecycle, migration for diverse mainframe applications. It was part of an integral SOA platform called SOA. The platform defined a corporative Portal (Sun Portal Server), and ESB (managed by other provider), and a backend server (Webspehre) to access DB2 in Z/OS systems. The artifact development in the project were, separately, portlets to deploy in the project, and web services to deploy in Websphere server. I was the chief architect, responsible of defining the project infraestructure, selecting the techonolgoies of the project, build the execution framework to be used in backend services. Other reponsibilities were define and setup the development and pre-integration servers, as well as the configuration of internal workspaces. A was also responsible of the integration with the external providers, the team in charge of ESB (Sun Java CAPS), or the team managing the optimization algorithm.
