I run a FREE weekly, online creative writing challenge for young people under 16 years. On average 600+ Students from across the world take part. A prompt is provided and pupils have 100 words to produce a creative piece of writing. This is posted on their class blogs then linked to 100wc.net where a team of volunteers leave supportive comments. These comments have had a huge impact on the confidence and motivation of the young writers and teachers report great progress in writing. An average of 600 entries are posted each week from around the world. In the past year, there have been over 36,000+ entries producing 225,000+ interacting through blogs with children's writing.
