Our 2 acre demo food forest in Kilifi, Kenya, puts African smallholder farmers at the centre of the design. The micro-financing journey that follows is the most holistic and sustainable route to market for smallholder farmers encompassing water management systems, security fencing, organic farming inputs and insurance. It doesn’t stop there. Our proprietary, Plan Vivo registered platform then connects smallholder farmers to the accredited carbon & organic markets, with blockchain technology ensuring transparency and traceability throughout the value chain. This turnkey solution delivers the financial independence every farmer aspires towards, while enhancing local biodiversity, community livelihoods and our global effort to reverse climate change.
