As part of our Enhanced Services, I work collaboratively to support participants by providing intensive support and wrap-around, trauma-informed individual case management and group workshops to identified youth and adults facing significant challenges in achieving their employment goals. This specifically involves individuals who are on long-term Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Supports Plan recipients who are long-term unemployed an, have a history with the criminal justice system and are newcomers. I work hard to establish strong relationships with my participants through an established action plan which may include career exploration, referrals to community programs, financial assistance, mental health, addictions support, volunteer placement, referral to training or education.
