Kasie Helpz Kidz is a 501 (c)3 non-profit founded by Kasie at the age of 15 after her two-time battle with cancer. KHKidz is aimed to help children fighting cancer by providing emotional and financial support to the child and their family during and after their fight. Currently, the organization has exceeded its yearly goals and have been able to help over 10,000 children and their families. • Managed budgets for all projects, programs, fundraisers, and campaigns held by the organization. • Established a network of over 50K followers via social media and marketing campaigns. • Developed and maintained relations with over 40 hospitals and more than 200 businesses. • Public/motivational speaking; Presented information about the organization in hospitals, schools, events, and various media outlets aimed to motivate the audience to get involved and support the cause. • Maintained a strong reputation with the community, sponsors, and partnered hospitals. • Project manager for all events and fundraisers, in over 50 cities across the nation • Recruited and interviewed volunteers and interns, managed all schedules, tasks and deadlines for each week- over 300 volunteers and interns. • Interviewed with each family applicant to establish which programs would be most beneficial for the patient. • Created monthly newsletters about the organization’s activities and upcoming events. • Managed all publicity inquires, press releases, and social media activity. • Exceeded short- and long-term goals for the organization.
