Kate Save's current jobs
I have the privilege of sitting down with some of the most fascinating founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs, diving deep into their journeys—starting with the childhood experiences that shaped their foundations. We explore their careers, their biggest challenges, and their proudest moments. But it doesn’t stop there. I always ask the questions that matter most: How do they juggle work, life, and family? What health routines keep them sharp and focused? And what are the real, unfiltered stories behind their success? No topic is off-limits. The Inspired CEO is all about authenticity—raw, insightful, and deeply inspiring conversations that offer a rare glimpse into the minds of high achievers. Join me as we uncover the lessons, habits, and wisdom behind those making an impact.
Be Fit Food won the 2018 and the 2022 Victorian Telstra Business of the Year award for their scientifically formulated, dietitian-designed, whole-food, home delivered meal programs for clinical weight loss and true health improvement. Kate Save (Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist & Diabetes Educator) and her own team of Dietitians at PPN (Peninsula Physical Health and Nutrition) formulated Be Fit Food as a solution for people seeking Rapid Weight Loss without taking synthetic supplements and fad-diets. Be Fit Food is an Australian first company using the evidence-based research of rapid weight loss to make healthy, wholefood meals which are available in over 750+ Woolworths stores and for national home delivery across Australia. The various meal programs are suitable for anyone who wants to kick start their weight loss journey, reduce their blood sugar levels and insulin resistance, manage diabetes, reduce fatty liver and for Bariatric and Pre-surgical patients including orthopaedic surgery. Clients average 5kg weight loss in 2 weeks on the 'Be Rapid' program. It's even good for the gut-microbiome and will likely assist with long term weight loss success given that it influences healthy eating behaviors with portion control and loads of plant foods. So what makes Be Fit Food unique....well every meal contains highly nutritious, fresh and wholesome ingredients, has no added sugar or artificial sweetener, is high-protein and low-carb. Our portion controlled meals are building blocks for any weight loss program from rapid weight loss with 800-900 calories for 1-2.5kg weight loss/week or our Be 1000/Be-1200 higher calorie programs achieve around 0.5-1.5kg weight loss/week. All regular meals and soups contain over 20g protein per serve. I am very proud to bring this new competitor to the weight loss market that is actually 'real food' rather than supplements that have been used for many years as the only option for rapid weight loss up until now.

After volunteering at 2 Queensland-based camps for children and teenagers with Type 1 Diabetes, my heart was broken seeing the struggle that newly diagnosed kids, parents and siblings experience when they are told they need to take multiple injections everyday for the rest of their life (or wear an insulin pump). I wanted to be able to help these kids and their families to feel supported and to have hope that there will one day be a cure for this disease. Soon after returning from these camps, when I was seeing these families in my dietitian clinic and gym, I felt empowered and became committed to providing support and uniting the community to support people with Diabetes. The stigma is real, and I witnessed this first hand after hearing stories about young teens not taking their prescribed doses on insulin and going blind, suffering from neuropathy and nephropathy at such young ages, with one needing a kidney transplant. So I started hosting my own Funwalk to build committee awareness, make those affected our heroes on the day and show our support on a united front. The annual Diabetes Funwalk is hosted at Mount Martha Victoroa each year either in October/November along the scenic foreshore. There's a 5km and 10km option for the walk, it's non-competitive to encourage increased participation and communication and its family friendly.
