PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE •Prepares comprehensive, proactive and timely financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows, as well as the year-end financial reports for all the entities in the group. •Oversee the preparation of the company’s annual budget, provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and budgets; provide corrective action recommendations to management. •Coordinate the company’s audit exercise, interacts with internal and external auditors in completing audits and the rendition of relevant report to regulatory authorities-SEC, NSE, FRC etc. •Maintains on-going Liaison with relevant external bodies /contacts e.g., regulatory organization, auditors, solicitors, banks etc. •Responsible for month-end/quarterly/year-end close as well as maintenance of all accounting ledgers including monthly review of all account reconciliations of all entities in the group. •Oversee the General Accounting processes of Inter-company, Fixed assets and Accounting and financial reporting of all entities within the group. •Implement Firm’s Accounting Policies and interpret guidance regarding accounting transactions. •Managed two associates and two analysts responsible for general journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
