Keith Fitzgerald's past jobs
Led engineering across Amazon DSP's flagship advertiser products and served as organization-wide champion of the emerging AI-driven agentic advertiser experience, building a multi-team organization and partnering with product, science, and senior leadership on where AI reshapes how advertisers work. With Performance+, I drove automated, outcomes-based campaigns that apply ML optimization toward advertiser conversion goals without the manual setup and tuning, then extended that performance-style automation up the funnel with Brand+ to reach awareness and consideration objectives. With Sponsored TV, I delivered self-service, measurable streaming TV advertising across premium inventory, with GenAI-assisted creative that makes TV accessible to brands of every size. And in development now, I'm architecting Agentic, Intelligent Advertiser Experiences: an agent-based system that lets advertisers plan, launch, and optimize through natural-language workflows, moving from manual campaign management to "describe the goal, the system executes."
Led zero-to-one-to-scale engineering for Responsive eCommerce, the most widely adopted creative type on Amazon DSP. My teams championed integration of GenAI capabilities (image upscaling, text-to-image generation, asset transformation) that expanded creative delivery across all Amazon surface areas: Twitch, Amazon Devices, and Amazon Physical Stores. Architected Amazon DSP's Native Ads delivery on the OpenRTB Native Ads spec. Equally proud of the organization I built: high-velocity, high-retention teams with a strong track record of internal promotions and engineer-to-manager transitions.
Designed and developed omni-channel Customer Experience integrating self-service kiosks, custom mobile apps, and on-demand delivery partner integration. Increased daily order volume, average order size, and customer frequency. Collaborated with key stakeholders (CEO, VP Brand + Marketing, VP Operations) to optimize customer personalization and loyalty programs. Grew mobile app order penetration from ~8% to >35%.
Provided hands-on engineering and product leadership for early-to-growth stage companies in GovTech, PropTech, SalesTech, EdTech, FinTech, and HospitalityTech. Delivered Zero-to-One products for Callyo (acquired by Motorola), Buyer MLS (acquired by Percy.AI), PeopleLinx (acquired by FrontLine Selling), Cengage.com, Asset-Map.com, and honeygrow.com.
(Acquired) Designed + Developed the first cloud-based, Do-It-Yourself ticketing platform built on Amazon Web Services. Featured services on AWS included EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudFormation, and CloudFront. Featured in RDS and ElastiCache case studies. I joined Microsoft through the acquisition of aQuantive, the parent company of Razorfish
Led content management workflow consolidation for two key clients: NFL + Pew Charitable Trusts. NFL consolidation moved team websites from disparate platforms owned by individual teams onto Documentum, administrated by NFL Networks. Notably, this included partnership with Akamai for Online Video (OLV) streaming and Zero-to-One product development on NFL Realtime Scoreboard. Engineering overhead for individual NFL teams was eliminated and a consistent UX was launched for NFL fans globally. PEW Charitable Trust consolidation moved corporate communications onto a custom solution built on Microsoft C#. Tag-based browsing and natural language search were greatly improved as error reduction moved from >10% to <.01% and load times from >10 seconds to <1 second.
Senior Software Development Engineer for Zero-to-One product launch. "Comcast Instant Messenger" utilized Java Web Services and WebLogic as well as XMPP and SIP protocol implementation for text and video messaging. Consolidated workflows for tenant arrival/departure that terminated/enabled account services at physical addresses. Drove cross-functiontional team migration of services away from point-to-point services calls and onto an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), providing a singular console for workflow administration and reduced average time-to-resolution troubleshooting for customers by >50%.
Senior Software Development Engineer for a Zero-to-One product launch streamlining Pharmaceutical regulatory workflows from multiple systems into a unified, web-based UX. Liqueunt was acquired by Thompson Scientific in 2009.
