Interline handles a wide variety of product lines including plumbing, doors, HVAC, cabinets and counters and power equipment for grounds care. I handle miscellaneous which is everything that dies not fit into a set category. My typical day includes sourcing hardware items, repair parts for pool systems, v-belts, salt spreaders and custom signs. This involves working with a large vendor base and extensive research to learn about the part needed as well as locating a source.
Responsible for identifying and procuring board level electrical components in support of repair production. Research of upper assemblies a well as individual components to identify repair options. Worked with the technicians to determine the necessary characteristics of the parts needed for repairs and to create an alternate when the components were no longer available. Supported the customer service group with status updates and expedites in a fast paced working environment. Planned inventory levels for parts needed on a consistent basis.
Procured aircraft engine parts with price, quality and delivery considerations for government and commercial customers. This process included working to insure vendor adherence to delivery and quality requirements and coordinating drawing changes through the aircraft engine OEM group. I was responsible for planning, scheduling and procuring inventory for the stocking program. This included consistent communications with the account managers on schedule adjustments and expedites for the CF6 engine program.
