• Worked with an international data team of six in overhauling Greenpeace data strategy – resulting in a data lake self-service model allowing consumers to access supporter data at their convenience. The resulting benefit was hundreds of saved person hours, freeing up staff time for other projects. • Developed, maintained, and managed ETL solutions using Jaspersoft’s ETL tool v5.3, v5.6, and v6.2. The resulting data lake allowed Greenpeace to merge supporter records from many databases into one, ultimately creating the “golden record” for any given supporter. This in turn improved analysis, volunteer efforts, online activities, and fundraising. Greenpeace surpassed their fundraising budget each year from 2011 to 2015. • Documented ETL jobs at the component level with both technical and non-technical language. The non-technical language bridged the gap between the non-technical majority of Greenpeace (department heads, project managers, and fundraising teams) and complex IT processes – allowing for a clear understating across the organization. • Independently created and delivered high quality technical trainings on how to use our in-house volunteer database, ActiveCore. Delivered trainings in person, remotely, and ultimately recorded as video tutorials - saving 80 hours per year and allowing end users to view at their convenience. • Personally recruited 187 sustaining monthly donors on the streets of Philadelphia (as a canvasser). Averaging 2 signups per day, this put me above the 90th percentile of the sales team. Celebrated as “Best Damn Greenpeacer” (i.e., top sales person) six separate weeks.
• Completed nationwide rollout of IBM hardware and POSitouch software to over 500 Golden Coral restaurants. Worked directly with Franchisees and General Managers to design POSitouch according to their specifications. Overall project management of installation at each location. • Staged all equipment for training and testing prior to go-live. Trained back and front of house management and staff on how to use the new system successfully and efficiently. Applied and strengthened my people skills; working in 24 states through the US. • Provided live support and daily on-site troubleshooting. • Worked independently in completing Cat 5 cable installation, termination, conduit troubleshooting, and networking. Credit card configuration and installation.
• Created four ISO approved work processes, later becoming center-wide operating procedure. These work processes outlined all potential system refresh combinations (i.e., Mac to Linux, PC to Mac, etc.) This resulted in improved feedback from end users and overall smoother transitions. • Administered 113 system refreshes and installations for Macintosh, Linux, and Microsoft based machines.
