- Defines project scope, goals and deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with other members of the organization and counterparts in Germany. - Develops and formulates effective and efficient systems, work instructions, policies and procedures in his/her section. - Formulates and reviews targets and performance objectives in his/her area of responsibility and reports them against plan and business objectives. - Constantly evaluates, enhances, and strengthens existing standard operating procedures on Materials Management Operations. - Responsible for the smooth flow of production through proper control of the internal supply chain systems, from storage, parts preparation, retrieval and issuance of materials up to production set up. - Motivates, coaches and supervises people and activities under his / her area of responsibility to make them effective and efficient team. - Generates necessary reports as to measure of performance on his / her area of responsibility. - Maintains and issues inventory report, entry and exit status, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report and manpower status report to his / her immediate superior. - Benchmarks industry’s best known methods and ensure updated tools and systems are implemented.

- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the SAP system - Maintains records of material documents by entering data into the system - Focal person for SAP Materials Data Management - Act as an Inventory Control Manager during inventory taking - Ensures that basic data in the material master in SAP system for mass production materials are updated and maintained.

- Plans, develops, executes and finalizes projects according to objectives and strict deadlines. This may acquire efforts of other members in the organization, suppliers and service providers in order to deliver the project according to plan. - Negotiates with vendors and stakeholders on items related to new projects. - Schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. - Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path. - Tracks project milestone and deliverables and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations. - Ensures projects and deliverables are completed on time. - Looks and recommends alternative competitive sources and ensures these are reported for future management consideration.

- Plans, leads and directs all activities in Purchasing and Materials Planning for the direct, indirect and MRO materials necessary to ensure smooth flow in production. - Formulates methodologies and tools to align with the logistics programs of the company in support to Just-in-time systems. - Formulates and review purchasing objectives and performance objectives, and reports performance against plan and business objectives. - Plans, organizes and conducts the annual strategic planning for his / her team. - Presides over from time to time the monthly Purchasing Meeting attended by SCM Manager, Materials Management Head, Logistics Head, Supervisors and other key personnel. - Evaluates and conducts cost analysis on various purchased materials and report results. - Attends internal product development meetings to identify new product demands, schedules and procurement needs. - Ensures optimum level of inventory is maintained.

- Develops / provides significant supplier input for new products, in collaboration with manufacturing. - Develops suppliers with materials, processes capabilities, and quality levels to ensure the highest degree of confidence. - Work closely with cross-functional teams across departments including senior management levels to ensure we are doing business with high-quality suppliers and providing appropriate feedback to our suppliers. - Active participant with regards to suppliers improvement projects to ensure compliance to product specifications, customer requirements and quality systems requirements defines. - Reviews customer complaints to determine the corrective action forwarded by the supplier. - Participate in risk management to identify, design and process risks and ensure mitigation in compliance with corporate procedures in regard to supplier activities.
