Overview: Ensure all New Product Introduction (NPI) customer requirements are scheduled, built and delivered to customers on time. Be the primary contact in Logistics for all NPI Planning activity Support Process and Quality PTMs to ensure all NPI builds are properly resourced by APU and Core Teams for optimum build efficiency and effectiveness Responsibilities: - Ensure clarity for customer requirements (internal & external) and project milestones that must be achieved to ensure smooth project launch. - Oversee NPI planning of products and production. - Lead weekly NPI Planning meeting, arbitrate planning conflicts and provide feedback on previous builds. - Support NPI build readiness meetings. - Liase with both NPI Material Planners and Production Schedulers to ensure build slots are aligned based on NPI development build timings - Ensure NPI requirements are reflected in Production Schedule, arbitrate planning conflicts and define recovery plans. - During NPI builds ensure the required resources from APU and Core Engineering are defined and allocated in advance to support the builds. - Measure and report on production performance to plan for NPI builds - Support Post build SLI (Single List of Issues) reviews which address and identify lessons learned to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Recommend re-schedules of the Master Production Schedule where necessary. - Run weekly NPI Nav MRP to drive material requirements. - Support the development of the weekly MPS. - Attend daily production planning meeting. - Be a key member of the Planning & Logistics Team. - Streamline business process for managing and tracking customer NPI open orders. - Oversee planning of products that are going into start of production. - Communicate issues that impact on schedules to the Materials and other relevant Departmental Managers. - Set-up of WIP and FG part numbers in SAP to support launch of new products.
Customer Service, Logistics and Order Management Responsibilities Include: • Strong customer interface on all aspects within Customer Service, ensuring clear, professional, proactive and efficient communication with international customer base. • Order management; including daily customer demand review, by product and by customer, to ensure all shipping requirements are being met in accordance with EDI/Purchase Orders. • Processing orders and preparation of daily shipping paperwork with the use of SAP and loading manual orders when required. • Key responsibility to ensure weekly arbitration of demand is completed accurately to influence Master Plan. • Analysing customer complaints; identifying key issues, creating action plans and ensuring implementation dates are being met; finding long term solutions to issues. • Product line responsibility to ensure all customer orders are integrated and supported. • Coordination with project teams, production and planning to ensure product revision changes are efficiently managed.

If any issues arise with these printers I give as much technical support as I can before passing the issue onto our printer engineers. • Liaising between customers and our artwork team at the outset of a new project to establish suitable design, size and artwork required. • Assisting in the training of new employees.
