In this role I was responsible for the identifying & testing opportunities for improving content discovery and article usability by scientists through semantic enrichment technology. I product managed the development of internal tools & processes for content enrichment of research articles as well as managing a team of 2 technical editors in the UK and a partnership with a team in India to provide this service to a selection of Nature research journals.
In this role I worked with editors and engineers to define internal workflows and in-house tooling needed to enrich articles from Nature Research Journals with scientific metadata. I managed two other technical editors who annotated scientific articles in order to increase value to authors for publishing in our open source & subscription journals.
