I support organisations with a focus on climate and sustainability to improve their strategic communication performance. Sometimes this means working closely with one or two people to develop a communication or campaign strategy. Sometimes it looks like embedding into an organisation and leading a team to deliver an ambitious project. I coach individuals and groups across the private and non-profit sectors. This work usually focuses on leadership, communication strategy, public speaking, or crisis handling. Our 121 sessions help develop skills and confidence in a warm, honest environment. I also work with a venture accelerator to coach early-stage founders. Here’s a sample of what I’ve worked on recently: 👩‍💻 Leading communication for Icebreaker One, a rapidly-growing organisation developing data infrastructure to enable businesses to hit net zero. 👩‍💻 Supporting the Climate Coalition as their interim Communications Director in the months ahead of COP26. Defining a communications strategy to help member organisations engage their 22 million-strong audience in impactful, low-bar action. 👩‍💻 Leading digital comms for the SME Climate Hub, a project with the International Chambers of Commerce working with small businesses to reduce their emissions. 👩‍💻 Writing - a lot of writing! I write strategy decks, pitch decks, summaries, and op-eds. A range of high-profile pieces on climate published in the Financial Times, Reuters, Guardian, Telegraph. Main thing they have in common is translating technical, financial, scientific complexity into clear and persuasive stories.
