As a startup business during the 2020 Covid19 Crisis my initial vision is to help others and myself. During these difficult times I find myself with a lot a free time. I aim to fill some of this free time working at very low rates to utilise some of my expertise and try to help others continue to live and work safely. Channel Partner Manager, Northern UK

Beginning early in 2015, my role was to identify new clients with technical needs, to develop solutions jointly whilst all the time ensuring that Quality, Time and Cost considerations are taken fully into account. I hold full control of all projects from initial outline specifications through design, implementation and commission all the way through to project handover; whilst managing all resource involved in any given project. It was my sole responsibility to create technical solutions to address our clients needs and also manage the implementation. Our clients have varying technical abilities and IT infrastructures, so each project requires a truly unique solution.

I worked for Protec Fire and Security on a short-term contract. My role as Site Supervisor was to project manage the on-site design and installation of Fire and Security Systems at the BT Convention Centre in Liverpool. These systems included full Intruder Detection (having to comply with Grade 3 for insurance purposes), CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection and RedCare systems. All systems where actively linked to those of the Echo Arena for multiple site monitoring.

I began my career at Siemens in training for the highly focused security sector. I was hand picked for this role due to my Engineering Education background and my hands on working knowledge of IT networking. My final position within SBT was Lead Engineer fulfilling the servicing of the TransPennine Express security, customer information and Help Point technologies we had installed. I was an integral part of the project from start to finish, through initial site surveying and minor design works to hands on equipment fixing and cable pulling in all 32 Rail Stations across the UK. This project was truly a long-term project taking 4 years from start to finish and the birthplace of my interest in projects. The rest of my time spent at SBT was spread across Liverpool City Watch CCTV, Sefton CCTV and the Manchester Patch (this consisted of 137 individual sites with multiple technologies on each site) at the time this was by far the largest patch within SBT and was considered a major achievement to take on the sole responsibility.
