As a chief scientific officer, Dr. Nissola provides scientific guidance and develops medical strategies at FirstBio Research. He is an award-winning physician, immunotherapy scientist, immunologist and author, whose work challenged the status quo of clinical development collaborating with Nobel Prize Laureates. He built, evaluated, and designed data-driven COVID-19 epidemiological models, featured by the White House in Press Briefings, and conducted early phase oncology and immunotherapy clinical trials, collaborating with leading academic institutions in the United States.
