Championing the WentWest values, in this role, I help drive the implementation of all strategic P&C initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment with a focus on strong employee engagement across the organisation. A key focus in this role is to provide accurate and timely P&C advice and guidance across a range of people and culture areas and activities including: policy development, recruitment and selection, contractual and employment legislation, learning and development, coaching and mentoring, HRIS administration, WHS, performance management, remuneration, risk management and HR reporting. Additionally, with the responsibility of the office maintenance and reception, I support the design and move to modern, supportive and inclusive workspaces that support activity-based working and providing employees with a workplace experience that empowers them to do their best work whilst treading lightly and minimising the impact on the environment.
