DC duties included: maintaining the project Master Document Register and all vendor Supplier Document Registers, dealing with all relevant deliverable submittals, controlling all internal project documentation (procedures/reports/scope of work/drawings), running system reports for planning/schedule use, using eDIS transmittal software, creating As Build/Manufacturing Record Books for client hand-over, assisting in the creation of stream-lined DC processes for Global Company use. Super-User of document management system ‘Conisio’. ‘Agility’ trained. Also provided Senior DC maternity cover.
Role consisted of creating manufacturing record books into hard copy and collating the information within SAP for client review. Duties also included liaising with the project managers, QA/QC and workshop, working to the project schedule and specific milestone dates. ‘Sap’ trained.
Main duties were: to create and maintain Manufacturing Record Books, which contain all tests, procedures and information relating to each piece of equipment bought, creating and maintaining Access databases so the project team could find and collate relevant information, function as the single point contact between vendors supplying 3rd party information and the project team. Performing a technical author function within the business unit and for General Engineering; reviewing and suggestion corrections/improvements ‘for client facing’ based documentation. Also involved with creating/streamlining working procedures within the business unit which improved the quality and daily running function of the business unit, and liaising with GE, the workshop and vendors for updates.
