Emergency Assistance Foundation is is the oldest and largest standalone charity designed solely to administer global disaster and hardship relief funds, thereby providing grants to individuals in need around the world. As Vice President of Corporate Operations, my role has several focus areas, primarily including strategic planning, team member relations, and relief fund education. I also oversee all marketing communications initiatives. Day to day, I work with decision makers at regional, national, and multi-national organizations that all have the common goal of assisting their own who are impacted by unforeseen disasters and hardships. I also manage our Immediate Response Program, which quickly and efficiently awards grants following qualified disaster events (separately from a fund’s standard grant program). Other regular activities include overseeing corporate operations, which can involve systems integrations, liaising with Emergency Assistance Foundation’s Board of Directors, and acting as the organization’s 411 operator.
