Providing support to the Investment Team and other internal and external clients, in conjunction with maintaining up to date procedural and risk management processes. Key objectives include: Unlisted Trade Processing & Deal Administration •Monitor expected cash flows, deal maturities and capitalizations •Update Amortization Schedules, with focus on accuracy of debt facilities, and Fund Exposures •Liaise between PM’s and Investment Analysts for Offmarket trades and settlements in accordance with the fair allocation process •Swift resolution of queries, including trade and income settlements •Daily cash reconciliation •Weekly reconciliation of Fund Exposure (on Hiport), measured against the respective Amortization Schedule to ensure alignment •Collaborate with Custodians and Clients to lodge and recall Debentures, and doing a weekly reconciliation thereof Daily Price Valuations and Performance Checks •Price unlisted instruments to be captured by our back office •Prepare and investigate daily fund performances in relation to the benchmarked asset, especially for cases of breached tolerances Daily Margins: Global Master Repurchase Agreement (GMRA) •Use MTM data, and repo positions to calculate daily exposures and held collateral •Communicate positions, exposures and payments due with PM’s, counterparties, and Trading Desk Derivative Swap Trades •Implement and execute swap trades, encompassing: creating new swaps; Funds participating in the swaps; static data of the swaps; and nominals held. •Calculate both legs of scheduled payments. •Action mandatory breaks and rollovers, and outright terminations Ad-hoc •Revalue instruments, encompassing revaluation of margin spreads on debt securities, as well as revaluing unlisted equities, and conducting an impact analysis. •Compile data for the Credit Team for Spread Reviews and Valuation Committee Meetings. Data consists of various Credit Ratings, Credit spreads, Term bands, etc.
