Lynne Matallana

As the Founder, and President, Lynne has run this non-profit organization with a focus on the needs of the patient community. She has carried out patient advocacy programs, participated in extensive media outreach and awareness, facilitated and carried out research, surveys, and clinical trials, speaks and testifies as an FM expert, has created patient-Health Care Provider exchanges and improved the providers understanding of the impact of FM on a patients through conferences and CME Programs which she has developed and hosted, helped eliminate societies' stigma against FM, and provided information and resources to the patient and medical communities, helping to improve the quality of life for people with FM in the US and around the world. Lynne serves as President of the NFA's Board of Directors and is a regular volunteer for the organization. While working for the NFA, Lynne testified in front of the FDA to help get 3 different fibromyalgia drugs approved for patients. She helped the community be recognized by the medical community.
