Program - Urban Ultra Poor Program (UUPP): reaches out to the most destitute families in urban slum communities and is aimed at tackling urban poverty through holistic interventions in five areas: livelihood development, healthcare, education, and financial and social services. Our ultimate goal is to tackle generational and familial poverty rather than provide isolated individual female support and help these families become independent and self-reliant. Responsibilities: • Planning the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization • Developing new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization • Preparing annual budget and operating plan to support the program • Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement • Preparing funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services • Ensuring that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization • Engaging volunteers for appropriate program activities using established volunteer management practices • Ensuring all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards • Supervising program staff by providing direction, input and feedback • Writing reports on the program for management and for funders • Ensuring that the program operate within the approved budget and Monitoring and approve all budgeted program expenditures • Ensuring financial reports and supporting documentation for funders are prepared as outlined in funding agreements • Getting required Government permission for Community infrastructure development projects such as Housing, Sanitation, Drinking water plant. • During lockdown and post-lockdown, Covid relief activities such as grocery distribution, Covid vaccine, Covid awareness were planned and executed.
