Into an OIL&GAS company I worked as a Mechanical Engineer specialized in design and calculation for marine loading arms. I also took care of ideation and design of several different equipments for fluid transfer systems ON-SHORE and OFF-SHORE. As a Project Engineer my job was to schedule all the operations and the manpower to reach the fixed goal. - Knowledge of the principal regulation like API, ASME and ISO related to OIL&GAS Field. - Direct field experience performing activities that combine the practical side with theoretical ones; - Continous focus on the job considering budgets and deadlines; - Supervision and coordination of installation of new equipment; - Organization and management of the inspection activities and of the after sales activities.
As a leading component of the Operations team, in the first phase I supported the mapping and the development of operational procedures and management models, then, during the event, complying with the proper procedures, I worked both in the Command and Control Operations Centre (EC3) and on field, acting as the main reference point to manage activities on site (eg. queues, operating systems, attractions, mobility, emergencies, etc.). My duty was also to check services and operations standards comparing them with KPIs; In addition I monitored security conditions being always available to Police forces in case of emergency or extraordinary operations.
