Maria D's current jobs
I grew up in a household where we faced emotional challenges. It took years before we openly spoke of our struggles. As a founder, it is easier to help solve other people's problems when they match your own. uMore was born from the idea that individuals have a vested interest in taking care of their mental health. Users can choose to track on their own, or they can add trusted people to their safe-circle, such as a friend, relative or even their doctor. If a user's score is low, their safe-circle is notified. The safe circle helps fill in the healthcare gaps (when individuals cannot get access to care or when doctors don't have enough time). In addition to screening, tracking, and group monitoring, users also get bite-sized content and suggested applications that specifically help them cope with their condition. We've won a few awards including first place at TechStars Startup Weekend UK COVID Edition. You can download our app, here: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=umore
