• Responsible for elaboration of bids at national and international level, identification of new business opportunities, development of relationship with clients, management of project implementation and supervision and motivation of the project team. • Main assignments included working for the green field International Airport Region de Murcia as Project Manager of the PMO responsible for the coordination of all the necessary activities for the commissioning and opening of the new airport: project timetable, risks analysis and mitigation, coordination of main stakeholders, airport certification, negotiation with airlines and concessionaires, relation with regulatory bodies, evaluation of bids for the supply of airport equipment, sizing of resources, operations procedures and manuals (Airport Manual, Emergency Plan), contingency plans, operational readiness. • Previously working for Dublin Airport Authority, based in Dublin: Project Management Office for the full support to the structuring and tendering of a $100M, 5 year Operation contract of the new Terminal (T2) in Dublin Airport: Passenger Services, Security, Maintenance and Cleaning services. • Other projects: Participation in Route Development for the new Airport International Region de Murcia (AIRM), Route Developments Funds for different Regional Governments in Spain (preliminary study for Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Seville), leading a team to advise clients on the ATC liberalization process for the AENA airports (regulatory advise, support on bid preparation, advice on partners identification and negotiations, ...); played a key role on the Ferrovial-NATS (Ferronats) partnership that lead to their success on the tender process for the majority of the AENA Towers included in the scope of the first phase of privatisation.
• Full responsibility for all the airport revenues (Aeronautical and Commercial), elaboration of Annual Budget, negotiation with Airlines and Concessionaires, Public Relations, Marketing activities and Environmental issues. Achievements to date: played a key role in the increase of value of the airport (£33 m when Ferrovial bought it in May 2003 compared to £132.5 in September 2008 when it was sold); traffic increase of more than 25% on one single year by increasing the airline portfolio; commercial revenues increase by 30% in two years and renegotiation of all the contracts for the new commercial area (potential revenue increase of 30% in year one after development) • Responsible for delivering the airport Master Plan for the Department for Transport.
