Pursuing studies in Psychology. During this time I have completed a number of bespoke projects as a consultant for businesses within the Hospitality sector imparting knowledge on products and services and producing detailed analysis, tenders and insight reports.
Taking a new opportunity to work more directly with clients, in both training and bringing positive awareness to the benefits of working with e-procurement systems, I was solely tasked with the responsibility of understanding and training out a completely new e-procurement system to the 6000+ units operated by our client. Undertaking a phased plan, working across a number of different sectors including healthcare, hotels, contract caterers, events, education, B&I and leisure, I conducted training on a one-to-one, group, face-to-face and remote basis to ensure an efficient handover to a change of system, for some, or a completely new way of working for others. Overcoming challenges in working processes, IT skills and equipment, suppliers, product specifications and geographical limitations, the project was successful in all live stages.
Using my 15 years of knowledge and experience in the catering and hospitality industry, I lead a team collecting, analysing. rationalising and producing data from a number of sources within the company and across the industry. Ensuring the data and reports produced, used by our clients and throughout our business, were accurate and focused on providing positive opportunities to facilitate improvements, as well as being able to identify where such changes had already provided a positive impact on the business. My understanding of products and services within the catering and hospitality industry allowed great success in leading my team to create and manage a database of information of products and services that was distinct enough to provide detailed levels of analysis and flexible enough to be used in a number of difference ways, such as tender creation and analysis, basket price comparisons, market movement reporting, client price monitoring, price negotiations, gap analysis and spend analysis.
In this position I lead a team of administrators and analysts managing all operational support services for the business, from assisting the sales team with analysis and insight for prospect clients, providing the operations team with regular client reporting, account administration, system administration, price monitoring and bespoke analysis, and supporting the procurement team with price reviews , impact analysis, supplier management, market reports and price file management. I worked with all departments to create and implement business processes improving communication and efficiency across the business and for our clients.
