Maria Tarancon

Since 2009 I have worked with UN agencies and international development agencies in the design, management and evaluation of programmes in the fields of gender equality, innovation, ICT for Development, local governance and decentralization and support to CSOs. I have collaborated with UN Women's Fund for Gender Equality, UN Women's Regional Office for East Europe and Central Asia, UNDP Regional Hub in Jordan and UNDP COs in Egypt, Kuwait and UAE in short and long-term consultancy assignments in the fields of gender equality, innovation and poverty reduction. Additionally, I have managed the Module 4 of the Qudra Programme "Strengthening the resilience of refugees and host communities in Jordan" implemented by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (2017-2019). Evaluation of gender portfolio of the Spanish Cooperation implemented in Egypt in the framework of the Masar Programme. In cooperation with Cideal Foundation, a Spanish non-profit organization, I have engaged in diferent assignments devoted to streghthening the technical skills and managerial capacities of CSOs in Egypt and Tunisia, along with project identification activities, research and training provision.
