Mariela Rassouli

Mariela is the owner of Every Dawg’s Dream, and a certified professional dog trainer. In addition to being a Karen Pryor Academy (KPA) Certified Training Partner (CTP), and Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), Mariela is also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI), and a member of the Pet Professional Guild. Mariela has always been a proponent of animal welfare. She is dedicated to improving the lives of both animals and pet parents, so together they develop a deeper bond and enjoy a higher quality of life. Mariela continues to be involved with various organizations and projects promoting pet adoptions, animal care, and educating the public about animal behavior. Before receiving any formal training, Mariela worked extensively with her own puppy, Mo, to meet the requirements and become a certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International. Mariela and Mo visit different nursing homes and hospitals to bring a little joy to people who welcome and cherish the unconditional love of our furry friends. Mariela is an active volunteer with Friends of Orange County’s Homeless Pets (FOCHP), where she rescues, fosters, trains, and holds weekly adoption events to find pets in need the best forever home. Mariela also volunteers weekly at the OC Animal Care Shelter, where she plays with, walks, and teaches dogs basic training skills so that they become more adoptable.
