After successfully rolling out the project at SEW EURODRIVE I got chance to be the 1st Technical Consultant for DACH area at Gemalto’s Online Authentication business unit. Clients managed: Deutsche Bank, UBS AG, Credit Suisse, Daimler AG, BMW AG, T-Systems, ComputaCenter, Bechtle, Accenture, Ernst and Young, etc. Responsibilities: - Working for Gemalto to develop new crypto products which meet the requirements of the DACH market. - Pre-Sales-Engineer for the Gemalto Online Authentication solutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland - Technical consulting for customers who wanted to implement a PKI solution or an IDM solution into their infrastructure. - Writing specification for new Smartcard Operating System Versions for Gemalto - 1st technical contact for customers as well as for Channel Partners in DACH Skills build up to date: Identity management, Access control mechanisms, PKI, PCI DSS, FIPS, Common Criteria
My diploma thesis was written around PKI and Identity Management and this was the reason why I got the chance to start my career as PKI/IDM Technical Project Manager. My duties were to develop a plan to migrate a global PKI System (27 countries) to a new modern PKI system while integrating a new Identity Management System. Main responsibilities during this time were evaluating, testing and implementing different PKI technologies and smartcards for a new employee badge. The expected outcome was fully delivered in time and the migration project could start 7 months after project Kick-off. Responsibilities: - Evaluation PKI products and installation afterwards - Evaluation of different RFID technology for building access - Evaluation of different Smartcard chips for logical access, digital signature and encryption - Integration of PKI and Smartcard into VPN infrastructure - Supported the CSO to achieve the ISO27001 certification.

During my time at Deutsche Telekom I had the opportunity to set up meetings with multiple large, medium and small scale organisations such as Siemens, BMW, Daimler and a lot of public government bodies. This role was dedicated to public communication projects and therefore it was important to deliver effective oral and written presentations, the ability to communicate on a technical and non technical level and an in-depth knowledge of Deutsche Telekom’s multichannel communication platform were key, when proposing a solution specific to such large organisations.
