Superintendent for brand new high school (Lake Nona High School). Project estimated value $80,000,000.00 with over 443,000 Sq. Ft. and total of 74 acres. Project was a tilt up concrete, with drywall and block interior walls. Total of 10 buildings encompassing classrooms, gymnasium, auditorium, kitchen and field houses. Scheduled inspections with lead inspectors along with secondary inspectors. Worked with the architect and engineers to coordinate the RFI’s to accomplish the projects overall goal. Directed all the subcontractors on their related field and made decisions in accordance with the approved plans. Approve invoices from the subcontractors for pay. Instructed the subcontractors on Doster Construction safety procedures for ISO 9001. Insured that our staff of project managers, assistant superintendent, and safety adviser were adhering to the projects overall completion. Proficient in MS, Word, and Excel, good verbal and communication skills along with proficiency in blueprint reading and redlining Primavera is the scheduling tool used on this project. Lead Superintendent in charge of new commercial project, (Condo’s at Via Lago).These were six and eight unit, two story condominiums with a fire suppression system. 1.5 – 2.5 million per building and with three buildings at a time under construction. This was the first commercial project for this company in Central Florida. All these buildings were ground up. Walked all the units for any design flaws with our Architects, Production Manager and Regional President to ensure a quality product. Prior to this project I was the Lead Superintendent in charge of construction in a community called Bella Vida. I had approximately 130 homes under construction as well as five Superintendents and fives Assistants that I supervised on a daily basis. Prior to this community I supervised our Regency line of homes. Parade of Homes Winning Homes. Supervised 24 houses ranging from 350K up to 550K per house at one time. I oversaw all subcontractors on safety, budgeting, scheduling, completion, and punch-out on a daily basis. I also supervised and trained assistants for higher positions within the company. My main goal was to ensure a safe and timely construction along with an exceptional product for the company. I received company acknowledgment for outstanding performance based on homeowner survey.
