After 37 years in the workforce and 33 years with Markel Corporation, I gave my notice in December of 2015 and retired May 1, 2016. Markel was an incredible company to work for and my time there made it possible for me to retire early. I am enjoying spending more time with my wife of 41 years Joni and our 2 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws, and 5 grandchildren. Not sure what else this chapter holds but I have an open mind and remain excited about the future.
