In September 2022, I have been asked to take on the Chair of the Board of School Governors at St Paul's Church of England Primary School, Rawtenstall. I have been volunteer governor at the school for over 8 years and also have the role of the Chair of the Curriculum Committee and also have governor responsibility for the teaching of Religious Education and for the standard of teaching and learning at the school. For the last six years I held the position of Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors and in June 2022 assisted the school leadership teams with their SIAMS inspection, where they received a 'Good,, with Excellent' rating

As from 1st October 2021, I became Chair of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and work with the Executive Team, Board, Head Office Team, Volunteers and Membership to deliver the Institute's vision of : "As the pioneering workplace and facilities management body, our vision is to drive change for the future. To be the trusted voice of a distinct profession recognised, beyond the built environment, for its ability to enable people to transform organisations and their performance."
