Authored from drawings, requirements, design verification protocols and reports. • Managed pilot-line activities and achieved a mature process prior to design transfer, including process characterization, process instructions, and process validations. • Supported design transfer to an international manufacturing site for production.
Coronary Product Development • Drove design, drawing creation, and manufacturing specifications, conducting tests for new coronary stent designs. Resulted in 16 iterations before identifying optimal design. • Subject matter expert for heat-treatment and surface-modification process development.
Transcatheter Heart Valves R&D • Designed and prototyped test fixtures for evaluation of leaflet geometry and valve dynamics the company’s first transcatheter heart valves. • Developed a sorting method in-process pericardial tissue evaluation and sorting.
