As executive director, I served as disciplinary lead for an amazing team of 40+ cloud architects/ engineers, cloud security architects, business consultants, and AI software developers. All of these people were recruited and hired by me. Since 2021, my organisational unit was organised in two departments with a director leading each team. As head of cloud and AI, I led the definition and implementation of SWM's cloud strategy across lines of business. I developed a cross-functional cloud competence center across corporate's IT units. Together with my team, I defined, implemented, and operated the company's multi-cloud platform landscape. Together with SWM's new business unit, I set up and led an innovation hub for experimentation and rapid protytyping at the intersection of business and IT.
