This included the sourcing of more than $1B in annual surface transportation spend and optimizing asset (UPS private fleet) and asset light capabilities for e-commerce growth and operational excellence. ★UPS DirectShip P&L oversight: Provided innovative transportation solutions for a largest 80 customers including zone skip solutions (Time in Transit acceleration) ★Developed new E-Commerce go to market strategies including a final mile "Heavy Goods" capability. ★Reduced purchased truckload transportation expense by $75M / year through innovative sourcing techniques and supplier partnerships ★Grew USPS revenue and P&L from scratch to a $170M per year P&L by negotiating and executing "sole source" contracts with the USPS. ★Achieved best in class air freight network efficiency improving network air haul ratio's improving EBITDA by $7M annually ★Thought leader for setting Transportation Policy and Legislation.

While serving as Senior Director of Operations I directed all operations within the Metro Chicago District including a final mile and pickup and delivery network of 6000 employees. Responsible to execute to SLA's and cost and productivity standards.
As Director of Engineering I ensured network design adherence and control for Intermodal, Central sort and Final Mile delivery operations in the North Florida District.
While serving in this role I planned and directed the efforts of more than 300 drivers providing delivery services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island while gaining first-hand experience in large scale operations management.
