Site Leader responsible for all operations, budgets and performance for a 560,000 square foot Amazon Fulfillment Center. Planned, coordinated and executed new fulfillment center launch increasing overall processing capacity by 100% while ensuring all customer expectations were met during site transition. Total site financial P&L responsibility.Provided daily operations leadership, and performance coaching for 36 operations managers and 1400 nonexempt associates. Achieved peak processing volumes of 500,000+ units weekly while maintaining safety, quality and productivity standards at 100% or greater. Implemented enhanced safety standards and accident prevention measures through increased awareness of safety training, driving OSHA recordable incidents down 57% year over year. Successfully executed Customer Returns Center transition from Zappos Fulfillment Centers Inc to Amazon.com through detailed change management practices and implementation of high level safety standards, quality metric measurement and productivity enhancements

Successfully led change management project for Zappos apparel based fulfillment center to a 3rd party based footwear operation for Amazon.com; project included inventory movement, process establishment, IT infrastructure installation, material handling equipment installation, training and SOP development. Led team of 15 salaried project managers and analysts, provided daily performance management and coaching of the Zappos project management office. Oversaw multiple projects including new Warehouse Management System implementation, IT installation projects, process improvement, cost reduction, new site construction and startup, new technology research and implementation. Managed forecasting and accounting of annual capital budget in excess of $25M including vendor relationship management and contract negotiation. Successfully completed new fulfillment center expansion and launch projects for over 800,000 square feet of space with daily processing capacities of 350,000 units

Managed the execution of projects in the development and training integration of new weaponry, communications, and software based technologies for the U.S. Army. Instrumental in procuring new technologies for U.S. Army based upon development of requirements documentation, research and development, operational testing, and customer feedback. Reviewed project criteria for Army training software tools, development progress, contract modifications and provided recommendations for government approval of major changes. Conducted product analysis studies; forecasting appropriate technology densities required to equip the U.S. Army ground vehicle fleet of over 300,000 and determined economic impact on U.S. Army Combat Identification budget.

Coordinated project goals between Foreign National Armed Services functional chiefs and US Department of Defense leadership to assure that the technology projects were completed within guidelines and objectives. Ensured projects met established customer requirements and milestones by analyzing information presented then implemented improvements at multiple customer sites. Served as organizational project lead for two Operationally Focused Technology Studies.
