Managing all infrastruce services across the organisation including data centres, help desk, network, server, client sevices and DBA teams. This includes the management of 10,438 network locations, 8 data centres, 1200 + servers and 120 resources. Matt drove a fundamental transformation of the underpinning infrastructure platform to deliver a world class experience. This included the rebuild on the internal delivery function moving into a private cloud delivery model, with the adoption of public cloud services on an as needed basis. Some of the key delivery's during this period included: * Restructure of the 160 person plus technology function combining 4 separate business units into a single cohesive team. * Delivery of a transformational change to the wide area network including the rollout of over 8,500 new routers and carriage services increasing net bandwidth by 8 fold with an over net reduction in costs. * Consolidation and rebuild of the organisations 2 primary data centres to transform into a private cloud infrastructure.
Responsible for the end to end technology function associated with Australia's largest manufacturer and distributor of Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements. The consumer brands included Cenovios, Natures Own, Microgenics and Bio-Organics. During my time I was responsible for the implementation of a digital enablement strategy to refine how the Symbion sales force interacted with their customers.
RSL Care is one of Australia's largest aged care providers with over 50 aged care facilitiers spread throughout Queensland and NSW. I was the first technology manager emplyeed by the organisation and I had the responsibility of building a technology function from the ground up and driving a digital agenda throughout the organisation. Key achievements include: * Australian first implementation of digital care planning * Creation of an IT department * Digitalisation of newly constructed aged care facilities including full wireless coverage
