Presently, I govern the maintenance, management, and amendment of all facilities and equipment, including high pressure salt water pumps, hydraulic systems, remotely operated valves, main lifts, and sewage treatment plants. Furthermore, I oversee all group administration activities as well as appropriate reporting and dissemination of engineering logs. I also proactively maintain the ship's 440 volt-power and distribution system. Lastly, I determine electrical defects in a three-phase 440 volt starter panels, serving as the sole-qualified stability and ballast water manager. Some of my accolades, include: ✯ Orchestrated all planned maintenance activities and availability of logistical supplies to ensure maximum possible operational availability of equipment. ✯ Spearheaded the diagnosis and amendment of a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment in a use of numerous electrical test devices and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). ✯ Utilised High Voltage Authorised Person qualification to enhance daily operations. ✯ Ensured conformance to all WHO policy and standards through implementation of portable water safety procedures and progressive interaction with external stakeholders. ✯ Acted as Assistant Departmental Health and Safety (H&S) representative specialising in risk assessment and hazardous substance management. ✯ Served as Senior Technical Adviser to Command with authority to oversee Permits To Work for all hazardous activities and command team responses in emergency scenarios.
