Added capabilities to simulate price points, extend and simplify. Enable data driven insights of revenue by using machine learning to optimize.  Subscription Platform – Built new service based architecture for subscription platform which enabled and extended capabilities and use cases to eBay Plus (Amazon Prime like offering), seller based packages like ebay Stores and Vehicle dealer offerings.  Ads platform - Lead team to create and design 'Promoted Listings' - an ad platform that enabled eBay sellers to promote first party listings. In an industry first, the model is based of CPS – Cost per sale, which removes upfront risk, and seller pays Ad fees only when listing sells.

 Enhanced pricing platforms by introducing additional levers to enable fee promotions, while reducing risks related to runaway costs to the business. Designed and created a real time counter based pricing model, with aspects of audit, recovery and reconciliation in case of errors (patent applied).  Developed and designed network traffic serializer, which improved throughput of billing transactions.  Tools Developed tools to do bulk credits, keep financial GL systems in sync with billing, and monitor promotional performance and alerts for errors. Worked on various other aspects of payments, messaging, finance and billing systems. Tech Platform : Java, Javascript, Messaging, Kafka, Zookeeper, Antlr, ELK stack, Web services – REST, SOAP, RDBMS (Oracle), NOSQL – Mongo, Cassandra, Hadoop.

Solutions Engineer Worked with ISVs and Sun partners, develop proof of concepts to create solutions in Telecom and Retail space, advice on architectures, performance tuning and benchmarks. Showcase the solutions in various trade shows and conferences, like Java One, Sun Network conference Speaker and Evangelist Speaker in various conferences, like Sun network and Java ONE. Conducted training tracks in Java, and Performance tuning.

BillerXpert product line: Architect for billerxpert product line, a platform to build and host billing solutions, consolidate bills from various utilities to provide a one bill interface. Developed the administration module and provide customized solutions for customer deployments. Platform used was Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Unix Sun ONE platforms: Technical lead in Sun ONE Developer platform; which enabled all Sun ONE products - Application server, Identity server, Portal server to be integrated and installed as one package - enabling a smooth experience for developers to have an all encompassing environment in a developer box. Responsible for admin module, and providing one unified install experience,

As an IT engineer; was part of team to develop Sun Microsystems IT applications, such as Charger, OneBill, NetAdmin and Common Object Library. Work was done in Java, C++, xLib, Motif, Solaris, sh scripts.
