• Responsible for overall distribution operations of Sanofi Bangladesh Ltd, Sun Pharma Bangladesh Ltd, AstraZeneca & Nuvista Pharmaceuticals Ltd throughout the country. • Overall administration, supervision and controlling of Distribution, Supply Chain, Logistics and Warehouse management functions. • Communicate along the distribution network & coordinate with other associates departments/sections. • Identify the scope of diversifying distribution network across the country & develop a comprehensive and competitive distribution channel by analyzing market & implement new distribution plan effectively. • Monitor the status and movement of all categories of inbound and outbound Logistics/Transportation/Distribution operations. • Ensure proper checking of depot-wise various operational expense vouchers, like delivery van operational bill, delivery expense bill of Delivery Assistants’ & coordinate for timely reimbursement of petty cash. • Monitor depot-wise inventory level & take necessary initiatives to keep inventory at optimum level. • Allocate the stock of Central Warehouse among the depots around the country through preparation of Stock Transfer Order (STO) in the systems. • Cost effective vehicle planning for product distribution to different depots. • Check daily depot-wise remittance (Sales proceeds) report for ensuring timely collection. • Periodic collection follow-up with all depots and take appropriate actions. • Organize depot-wise replacement of non-conforming products periodically. • Prepare departmental SOPs & preserve and re-distribute relevant SOPs, QSP, Forms for ensuring better Quality Management System (QMS). • Develop the ability and expertise of distribution personnel through “on-the-job” training, motivation by regular “work-with team” method & conduct development programs as per guidelines to compliance policy.
• Prepare an effective Route plan in consultation with sales colleagues. • Ensure proper administration of sales orders, timely preparation of all necessary sales documents in SAP. • Ensure on-time delivery to right customers as per plan as well as to organize special delivery needs as and when required. • Ensure to have a proper internal control system in place in the field of handling of cash, Collection of sales proceeds, inventory control, accounts receivable, invoicing, credit management, discount etc. • Ensure FEFO based inventory is maintained with appropriate batch numbers. • Manage distribution center operations within the approved budget. • Optimize use of different resources of logistics operation of distribution center e.g. delivery vans, IT equipment, warehouse space, Cold-chain equipment and human resources etc. • Implement and maintain GMP, GDP and GQS (Global Quality Standards) in warehousing and distribution at the distribution center level. • Maintain Sanofi-aventis HSE guidelines at distribution center. • Develop a competent team at distribution center level to achieve an excellent customer service according to SOPs, Sanofi-aventis values and compliance policy. • Maintain travel schedule and regular visit to customers in different routes.
• Prepare monthly route plan & delivery schedule. • Ensure in time order processing, invoicing, product dispatch and delivery to the right customer in right time. • Analyze sales returns to find out root causes of return and take appropriate measures to reduce the sales return. • Maintain different GMP guidelines in warehousing of finished products. • Ensure in time collection of sales proceeds and remittance of collected amount through bank deposit. • Ensure in time Bank Deposit Statement, Bank reconciliation statement and petty cash reconciliation statement properly. • Optimize utilization of line staffs, like Distribution Officers, Assistant Distribution Officers, Computer Operators, Store Assistants, Sales Representatives, Drivers & peons. • Check route-wise delivery expense bills of SRs and drivers as per fare chart & control depot expenditure. • Keep all ISO related records & documents updated. • Arrange to prepare all necessary papers and process for institutional orders supply.
• Provide continuous assistance & logistic support along distribution network throughout the country for smooth operations. • Check/ Reconcile finished goods which are received at Central Warehouse from factory. • Constant monitoring of physical stock position for ensuring better storage facility/condition. • Monitor proper FIFO management, product shelving, Storage condition assessment, Temperature & relative humidity records. • Conducting physical inventory of Central Warehouse periodically as per SOP and ensure physical stock balance is as per system balance. • Prepare agenda of “Monthly Depot Meeting” & summarize meeting minutes of all depots. • Assist the Depot Heads to comply with Trade/Credit Policy of the company. • Maintain and dispatch attendance & leave records of the depot personnel. • Ensure proper repacking & sending of PPMs, samples and gift items to respective MPO territory as per allocation from marketing department.
