- Joined Senita as a start up in 2020 and established the design department and implemented processes including creating the development process for fit samples from first fit to final PP, setting company grade rules, correcting the size chart to reflect current product, creating the style numbering system and creating a fabric sourcing and tracking system. - Owns compiling and presenting the company trend, print, fabric and color direction for each season - Owns and manages the conceptualization, development and production of women’s, men's and children's athletic wear, swimwear and accessory collections. - Responsible for hiring, training and managing the designers and technical designers in all aspects of the product design process from market research, mood board development, designing, sketching, creating technical specifications and fit evaluation. - Responsible for the communication and partnership with production suppliers and onboarding new production partners. - Owns and runs fit and design concept meetings, makes fit adjustments and directs designers on changes needed for samples. - Has final approval on all sample changes and tech packs, ensuring the compliance of sample specs, size grading, construction and fit intent. - Owns and drives the development of new fabrics, trims, prints and embroideries
